My Integrations & My Profile (doctors)

Two five-minute setups that pay off every day: connecting your calendar, and looking right to patients.

Connect Google Calendar — do this first

Why: it makes your MedicalSuite availability actually true. Busy events in your Google Calendar (holidays, school runs, meetings) automatically block booking slots — and online visits can get Google Meet links created under your account.

How:

  1. Open Integrations in your doctor menu.
  2. Click Connect Google Calendar.
  3. Sign in with your Google account and approve the requested access.

Done. From that second, your Google busy times shape your bookable slots.

What MedicalSuite can and can't see

The connection is used for free/busy times and creating meeting links. Manage it anytime — disconnect from the same page.

Zoom — if you prefer it over Meet

Connect Zoom on the same page and your online appointments create Zoom meetings instead.

Pick how links for your online appointments are made:

OptionMeaning
Google MeetFresh Meet link per appointment (needs Google connected)
ZoomFresh Zoom meeting per appointment (needs Zoom connected)
Permanent linkOne fixed personal room link, reused for every online visit — set it once, e.g. your personal Zoom room

Whichever you pick, patients get the link automatically in confirmations and reminders — see Video consultations.

My Profile — how patients see you

Your name and photo appear in the booking widget and in emails patients receive. In My Profile:

  • upload a friendly, professional photo (patients pick doctors partly by face — a real photo beats a grey silhouette),
  • keep your display name and details current.

Common questions

Meet links stopped generating. The Google connection has likely expired — disconnect and reconnect on the Integrations page.

I connected the wrong Google account. Disconnect, then connect the right one.

Do I need both Google and Zoom? No — one is plenty. Google alone gives you both busy-blocking and Meet links.
