Contacts

What it is: the address book behind Conversations — one card per person or number your clinic has texted or called.

What's on a contact​

  • Name and phone number (and email if known).
  • Their entire communication history — every SMS and call.
  • Links to their patient record or enquiry when the number matches one.

Using contacts​

  • Open Contacts from the menu, search by name or number.
  • From a contact card you can text, call (opens the dialer), or jump to their patient/enquiry record.
  • Numbers that message you first (say, a reply to a reminder from a number you didn't have) appear here automatically — put a name on them so the next person isn't guessing.

Common questions​

Contact and patient — same thing? No. A contact is "a phone number we've talked with". A patient is a clinical record. They link up when the number matches, but a contact might be a partner clinic, a supplier, or someone who never booked.

Wrong name on a contact? Open it and edit — the fix applies everywhere the contact shows.
